For Small Business & Nonprofits

Small-Business & Non-Profit Facilities
Small businesses and non-profits need energy efficiency too. Use these links to access information about three useful NYSERDA programs designed specifically for commercial and organizational facilities:

FlexTech Energy Audit Program

This program provides energy audits to small businesses and other facilities to help them make informed electrical energy decisions and implement energy-efficiency strategies. Audits help identify economically viable improvements that yield substantial annual energy savings.

Existing Facilities Program

NYSERDA's Existing Facilities Program offers a portfolio of incentive opportunities to offset the cost of energy improvements in existing commercial and industrial facilities. Applicants may pursue a pre-qualified or performance-based path.

Small Business/Not-for-Profit Energy Efficiency Financing Program

NYSERDA provides 50% of a loan, up to $50,000, at 0% interest, and the lender provides the rest of the loan at market rate. By partnering with NYSERDA, lenders can offer small businesses and not-for-profits energy efficiency financing at about half the market rate.
