Income Limits
Most (but not all) down-payment assistance programs have limits on the applicant's maximum annual income to be eligible for the program. Unless otherwise noted, income limits are usually (but not always) based on HUD guidelines published each year and adjusted by household size. For programs on the previous page that use the "80% of HUD median", refer to the 2008 Income Limits on the chart below for many of the HUD-funded programs in the Albany-Schenectady-Troy area:
