HomeSave is a Capital Region coalition of housing counseling agencies and community groups (Albany County Rural Housing Alliance, Affordable Housing Partnership, Albany Community Land Trust, Better Neighborhoods Inc., Capital District Community Loan Fund, Empire Justice Center, TRIP Inc. NeighborWorks®  Homeownership Center and United Tenants of Albany), working together since 2003 to promote fair lending and warn homeowners about predatory lending. Empire Justice is a statewide multi-issue not-for-profit law firm engaged in direct representation and advocacy in a variety of poverty law areas including consumer law and sub-prime mortgage lending.
